We offer a very warm welcome to our ticket holders with disabilities.
Our festival takes place on the East Martello Field in Seaford which is a primarily grassy. The festival site has one main stage. There are some uneven gravel roads surrounding the site. Bad weather may make accessibility more difficult if the ground is wet due to rain.
Free Tickets for Personal Assistant/Carers
We offer a free 'PA ticket' for carers or personal assistants if you are over 18. You are eligible for a free carer ticket if you have or recieve any of the following:
If you require a PA ticket, please book your own tickets in the normal way and then contact the organisers at seahavenpride@gmail.com. You will need your ticket number, evidence of your eligibility plus the name and contact details of your carer. PA tickets are also available for those with under 18’s who require more than one carer.
For artists and crew who may require a PA ticket, please contact the organisers at seahavenpride@gmail.com to make a request. The same eligibility policy applies as above.
Mobility Scooters and Mobility Aids
If you use a mobility scooter, wheelchair, sticks or crutches, please consider how they will work on soft ground. If you have any queries or need assistance, please contact us at seahavenpride@gmail.com.
Accessible Parking
We have a car pack close to the gate for blue badge holders. If you need an accessible parking space, please pre-book this when booking your tickets and have your blue badge clearly displayed. You will be directed to the reserved accessible parking area by the stewards.
Viewing Platforms
We do not have a viewing platform for our performance venues but can offer assistance to help you access a dedicated accessible area.
British Sign Language Interpreter and Makaton Signer
There will be a BSL interpreter on site and will sign during the performances. Let us know in advance by emailing seahavenpride@gmail.com if you need any assistance. There will also be a Makaton signer on site.

Toilets
We have ample toilet facilities on site which are located near the gate entrace. Most are of the single toilet units. Accessible toilets are also provided. There are sinks and/or alcohol sanitiser gel in each toilet. Baby changing facilites are also provided. The toilets are manned by assistants to keep the area clean and well supplied.
Medical Services & Welfare
Lone Med provide our medical services. The first aid tent is located at the far end of the site nearest the car park.
Our security and stewards are here to help so if you feel you can't make it to the first aid tent, please try and find a member of staff who can arrange help for you.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed? We have a sensory overload tent near the first aid point where you can calm down. Just make it known to a member of staff or security if you need any assistance. There is also a quiet area for breast feeding.
Assistance Dogs
We are a dog friendly festival. All dogs must have a pre-booked ticket. Assistance dog tickets are free. Please book your free dog ticket when purchasing your own ticket. We also have a dog behaviourist on site with water bowls and treats for your fur babies.
Strobe Lighting and Lasers
We have a strobe free policy at Seahaven Pride and Family Festival and can confirm that none of our stage performances will include the use of strobe lighting. Nor will we be using lasers at the festival.
Pyrotechnics
We may use pyrotechnics during some of the performances. We will make an announcement before any performances which involve the use of pyrotechnics.
