LOCAL RESIDENT INFORMATION

Seahaven Pride is due to take place on the 30th August 2025 - 12.00-21.00. As last year, this is set to be a lively but well managed event.  We wanted to write to you and let you know of our activities and give you the contact details should there be any issues. 

Build & Break: 

The event build will commence on Friday 29th August 2025 within a secure fence line.  The de-rig of the event will conclude on Sunday 31st August 2025. 

Noise Management: 

Measures have been formulated to minimise noise disturbance for residents. We have appointed an industry-leading sound management team and sound technicians to work with us to ensure the agreed sound levels are adhered to, both within the site and at agreed points adjacent to residential properties. In the event of a noise complaint, please contact us on 07821162012. We will monitor the sound levels and liaise with our technicians to minimise any issue. If noise levels are above those specified in the license conditions, immediate action will be taken to reduce the levels at the noise source. There is a strict curfew on the main stage of 9pm.. This is enforced with the assistance of a time coded fail safe on the sound desk of the stage. 

Traffic Management: 

We aim to minimise the disturbance and inconvenience from people going to and from Martello Fields attending the event and have set out a robust plan to manage this interaction. This plan includes an advised and signed route from the railway station to the event site. Crowds leaving the event will be to ensure the shortest route is taken to their chosen transport. We will also ask attendees to leave in a quiet and orderly manner mindful of residents.  No road closures are required. 

Security and Policing: 

Security will be on position at emergency exits, the stage area, and at key bar locations. Exterior patrol will monitor the exterior fence line to prevent unauthorised access, and direct attendees to the relevant entry gate. In addition, security will be deployed at fixed positions to protect vulnerable assets. The community police will also be in attendance. 

Refuse and Waste Management: 

We respect and adhere to the single use plastic free policy and do not permit the use of it by any trader or customer. A reusable cup scheme is in operation at the bars and all our food traders will be using sustainable containers. We have a strict “leave no trace” policy and intend on returning Martello Fields to public promptly and free of waste or damage. No food and drink are permitted to enter or leave the event. Toilet Provision: 

Dedicated toilets will be located within the event site. Persons caught not using them will be removed from the event and reported to the police.
