Seahaven Pride pARADE CODE OF CONDUCT

The following Code of Conduct applies for everyone taking part in the Parade on August 24th in Seaford.

1.  Seahaven Pride will not tolerate any threatening, violent or offensive behaviour against its volunteers, other parade participants, police, security personnel or members of the public.

2.  On August 24th we will be celebrating diversity.  We will not tolerate any individual making derogatory remarks about a person's sexuality, gender, gender identity, race, age, nationality, disability, appearance, religion or any other factor.

3.  Any individual not following our Code of Conduct will be removed from the parade immediately by our security team and referred to the police or any other relevant bodies.

4.  Seahaven Pride believes it is important for all parade participants to follow current legal guidelines concerning alcohol and drugs.

5.  Any Parade participant that is deemed aggressive, intoxicated, threatening, or a threat to their own health will not be permitted to take part in the parade.

6.  Any poster, sign or banner deemed inappropriate will be not be permitted to be used in the Parade.

7.  As guidance, ‘swimsuit coverage’ is the minimum requirement.

8.  Seahaven Pride asks that any litter is disposed of in the provided bins and or taken away with you.

Any      person not following our Code will be immediately removed from the parade and reported to the relevant authorities were necessary.

All decisions made by Seahaven Pride , our parade management team or security providers are final.
